Invisible Man: An Orchestral Tribute to Dr. Dre
This year the album was finally released and Sly put together a 20+ orchestra to play at Bowery Ballroom for New York City Jazz Fest. The album is super dope and I encourage you all of you to check it out. It even has the blessings of the man, Dr. Dre himself! Congrats to Sly on a great record!
Here’s a clip of me playing an opening solo before the heavy grooves set in. Playing in front of all my colleagues was a little intimidating, but I had my best string buds with me and the vibe in the room was magic.
