The Third annual ~ Into The Veil

For the third year, I helped Atlas Obscura design an immersive nighttime cemetery experience called Into The Veil. After the previous two years the event had grown enormously, we expanded to two nights and hosted around 6,000 guests.

My main jobs were booking talent, stage managing, curating musical hubs and over seeing the technical aspects of spaces (lights / sound / power).

I booked my biggest band yet, SURVIVE who are best known for the soundtrack of Stranger Things and worked with longtime inspiration Laraaji.

Other musicians and performers I got to work with were; Carolin Pook, Mark Korven, Vince Anderson and the Love Choir, Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective, Rob Roth, Marrshun, Jypsy Jeyfree and Diorama Poetry.

I also got to program and work with Microclima, my contacts from Venice. We put t together an installation in the trees that projected some of the lives buried in Green-Wood Cemetery.

The scope and creativeness and of what we did still amazes me. Thanks to all the performers, The Green-Wood Cemetery ground keepers and the countless people who helped pull off these two amazing nights.
